Blockchain & Crypto Networks
These Stamps are like digital badges that showcase your involvement and transactions within blockchain networks. They are crucial for activities related to cryptocurrencies and decentralized applications.

How we protect your personal information
Login Credentials
Some Web2 Stamps require a login to verify account ownership and date. This is done using OAuth. These Stamps include LinkedIn, Google, Github, and Discord. The login and session information is only stored in our services long enough to validate the underlying Stamp. Once we have verified that information the login details are discarded. Nothing is stored on our servers other than a hash of your personal information to keep your identity safe.
Hashing Your Data
With the Human Network we generate a secure and decentralized “hash” secured by over 3B in restaked ETH (the threshold network computes the hash via an OPRF). We store this hash instead of your actual information. This method makes sure no one can see your personal information, and it helps prevent anyone from using your identity more than once while ensuring each Passport unique humanity score is created by a single person.
Privacy technologies we use
Human Passport uses modern cryptography to protect your identity while still allowing verification. This allows apps to check eligibility without accessing personal data or building user profiles.
Zero-knowledge proofs (ZK)
Zero-knowledge proofs allow proving that a verification was completed successfully without revealing the underlying personal data. With ZK, apps can confirm eligibility or uniqueness without seeing user's name, documents, or account details.

Cryptographic hashing
We use hashing to convert personal information into a secure, non-reversible form. Hashes cannot be reversed to recover personal data and help prevent duplicate or fraudulent use of identities.
