We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions for proving your Unique Humanity. So we give users the choice to prove their identity.
Users can choose to add credentials from BrightID, Civic, Gitcoin, Coinbase, and more to increase their Unique Humanity Score.
Multiple Scoring Algorithms
Our built-in credentials scorer and battle-tested default score makes Sybil defense easy and effective. But if you don’t want to opt for Gitcoin’s battle-tested defaults, and want to design your own trustworthiness scoring algorithm, you can choose to create a Scorer that meets your unique requirements.
Onchain & offchain identity verification
Our Developer API evaluates people’s unique humanity offchain, but if you want to bake in scoring into a smart contract, you can choose to do that. That’s why we now enable our Passport holders to push their stamps onchain.

Passport aggregates identity credentials — called Stamps — from trusted sources, then returns a Unique Humanity Score in real time. You query the Passport API (or embed the widget) at the moment of action, so verification happens inline without taking users out of your flow.
Teams use it to gate airdrops, grants, rewards, governance, and onboarding — anywhere bots and Sybil attackers would otherwise drain value. Because scoring is live, you can make allow/deny decisions at the exact moment a user takes a protected action.
Yes. Passport Stamps, Direct zk Verification, and Machine Learning Sybil Classification are modular and can be combined. Use them individually or stack them to build the protection model that fits your ecosystem.
Passport Stamps and Direct zk Verification both contribute to a user’s Unique Humanity Score. Machine Learning Sybil Classification returns a separate risk signal you can layer on top of the score.
